Join us for Catamount’s biggest event of the summer season! The 2nd annual Thirsty Cat Beer, Wine and Music Festival brings together the best of the Berkshires! With a large selection of draft beers and ciders, a variety of wines, 5 great bands over two days, craft vendors and tasty food options - there’s plenty to keep you busy for a few hours or for the whole event! The event is family-friendly, with a kid’s lemonade tasting, scenic chairlift rides, zip tours and the aerial adventure park all open during the event. While there’s no admission to attend the festival – those wishing to try beverages can buy tasting packages in advance (for a reduced price) or day-of. Learn more about the event below.

Scenic Chairlift Rides

Our Scenic Chairlift will be running throughout both days of the event. Ride the Glade Triple up to the summit to take in the beautiful views of the surrounding areas, including the Berkshires and Hudson Valley. Purchase your scenic chairlift ride online in advance. Tickets will be available on-site, subject to availability.

Zip Tour and Aerial Adventure Park

Our Zip Tour and Aerial Park will operate throughout the festival. Take a break from the festival activities and try your hand at one of our 9 aerial adventure courses or ride the longest zipline in the country! These activities have strict capacity limitations so advance reservations are highly suggested, as we anticipate these activities to sell out in advance for the festival dates.

FAQ's:

  • May I bring my kids/What is there to do for children?
    The Thirsty Cat festival is designed with the whole family in mind – bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy live music while your kids can get into the spirit with patio games, vendors, food options and a special kids lemonade tasting option.  
  • Are pets allowed?
    No – due to the nature of the event with ample food and beverage options, we kindly ask you to leave all non-service animals at home.
  • Are lawn chairs and shade tents allowed?
    Lawn chairs and shade tents may be set up in designated areas only. Please be respectful of your neighbors when placing shade tents that may impede the view of others.  
  • Are there additional-fee activities available?
    Beer, wine and cider tasting, kids drink tasting, scenic chairlift rides, other food and beverage options, zip tours and the aerial adventure park will all be available as additional-fee attractions. In some cases, available inventory may sell out in advance. Reservations for the aerial adventure park and zip tours are highly recommended, in advance.
